资源简介:
This report presents the results of push tests performed on unlined ductile iron pipes connected with bell-spigot joints in order to study the axial frictional resistance of the pipes when pushed through soil. Six different tests were performed using different joint configurations and joint restraints to quantify the resulting frictional resistance developed along the pipe. PT1: pipe without joint in soil. PT2: pipe with joint in soil (bell "tail" being progressed through the soil). PT2a: repeat of PT2. PT3: pipe with joint in soil restrained by Cornell Joint Restraint. PT4: pipe with joint in soil (bell "face" being progressed through the soil). PT5: pipe with joint in soil restrained by UB clamp.
