Income and capital accounts; sector data, 1988-2011

This table contains the data of the system of accounts in the form of sectoral tables. This data is intended to provide a detailed and clear picture of the total available resources and expenditures (including financial resources and spending) for (sub) sectors. The balances can be found in the heading macro— economic balances. Government also includes data that consolidates the transactions between them, reflecting the actual revenue and expenditure of the government. In addition, this series provides an overview of all economic sub-processes such as production, income distribution and financing. This gives a description of the role played by each sector, e.g. the government in the distribution of incomes and credit institutions in financing. Then we see the extent and coherence of the various economic activities and their relationship with the rest of the economy and abroad. In 2005, the national accounts were revised on the basis of conceptual changes to the international guidelines of the European Union (ESA 1995). In addition, new statistical insights and new sources have been incorporated into this 2001 revision. The macroeconomic variables mentioned above are mainly reflected in real prices, expressed in millions of euros.
