dataset on personal variables and misuse of non orthodox psychoactive substances

This dataset was for a study which adopted the survey research design to investigate the influence of personal variables on misuse of non-orthodox psychoactive substances amongst secondary school students in Calabar South Local Government Area, Cross River state, Nigeria. The study was guided by three research questions and three hypotheses. A sample of 700 students was drawn from a population of 10,560 senior secondary school students in the study area. Researchers-designed instrument titled Misuse of Non-orthodox Psychoactive Substances Questionnaire (MNPSQ) was used for data collection. The MNPSQ was validated by an Educational Psychologist, a Measurement and Evaluation expert, and a Guidance Counsellor. The data generated from the instrument is hereby presented.本数据集源自一项采用调查研究设计的学术研究，该研究旨在探究尼日利亚克罗斯河州卡拉巴尔南区中学生个人变量对非正统精神活性物质滥用行为的影响。本研究围绕3个研究问题与3项研究假设展开。研究人员从研究区域内10560名高中学生的总体中，抽取700名学生作为本次研究的样本。本研究使用研究者自行编制的《非正统精神活性物质滥用调查问卷（Misuse of Non-orthodox Psychoactive Substances Questionnaire，MNPSQ）》完成数据采集工作，该问卷已由一名教育心理学家、一名测量与评估专家以及一名学校辅导咨询师完成效度检验。本文现呈现通过该问卷获取的全部研究数据。
