Forecast results from an Arctic high resolution sea ice forecast system

This dataset comprises the output of a high-resolution (~2 km) ensemble forecast system for Arctic sea ice, specifically designed to resolve linear kinematic features (LKFs). It includes hindcast results generated on the Sunway many-core computing architecture, featuring optimized parallel data assimilation and model integration. The data contain daily LKF forecasts of sea ice variables at lead times of 1–3 days. Also provided are the scripts used to implement the data assimilation system on many-core processors. A Jupyter notebook is included to reproduce figures and statistical analyses presented in the associated manuscript. This dataset supports research on high-resolution sea ice prediction, data assimilation on advanced computing architectures, and the evaluation of LKF forecasting skill.
