Classified Impervious Surfaces

The Impervious Surfaces layer delineates and measures areas that contribute to surface runoff across the City of Kenmore. The data are maintained by the City’s Environmental Services Division and serve as the foundation for determining parcel-based Surface Water Fees. Each feature represents a distinct impervious surface area classified by type and includes the total area in square feet. Surface types may include rooftops, driveways, parking areas, patios, or other non-permeable features. The dataset supports stormwater management, drainage planning, and regulatory compliance under the City’s Surface Water Program.
