Emerging many-to-one weighted mapping in hippocampus-amygdala network underlies memory formation

Memories are crucial for daily life, yet the network-level principles governing neural representations of memories are unknown. In this study, we discovered that the hippocampus and its associated neural network utilize a many-to-one weighted mapping principle to rapidly encode and store new memories.
