Hermit historical weather station datasets, Glacier National Park, British Columbia, Canada.

This dataset contains recordings from the Hermit weather station, located in Glacier National Park, B.-C., Canada. It is divided into two subdatasets; an hourly dataset, and a 10 minutes based dataset. Note that the station is used primarily for winter avalanche forecasting; thus the station is closed during the summer months. The usually recording starts around the start of October and ends around the end of May. The station is visited and maintained by Parks Canada staff multiple time during the winter, and when necessary, instruments are repaired and calibrated during the summer. For more details, please refer to the “Data & File Overview” section in the README. The name of each file provide insight on if the data is an hourly or 10 minutes recording, and the date provide the first and last recording of each file.
