San Antonio Valley Sample 4 (SAV04 Ponderosa Pine W.P.#012)

The project goal is to investigate the past climatic variability on a local micro and lower mesoscale level with a focus on precipitation cyclicity and intensity using proxy data obtained from dendrochronological (tree ring) analysis. The major species for this analysis work is pinus ponderosa.本项目旨在局地微尺度与较低中尺度层面探究过去的气候变率，重点关注降水旋回性与强度，所用数据来源于树木年代学（dendrochronological）分析获取的代用资料，该分析亦称树轮分析。本分析的主要树种为美国黄松（Pinus ponderosa）。
