KUNA Arabic-English Political News Headline Corpus

This dataset contains a headline-only bilingual corpus of political news headlines published by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) in Arabic and English between September and October 2024. The CSV file includes chronological item numbers, publication dates, English headlines, and Arabic headlines. The dataset supports the article “Translation shifts in political news headlines between Arabic and English”. It is provided to make the headline corpus transparent and reusable for verification, replication, and future research on Arabic-English headline translation, journalistic translation, and political news discourse. KUNA remains the source of the published headlines.
