Bacillus amyloliquefaciens RHNK22, isolated from groundnut rhizosphere showed significant biosurfactant activity and reduction of surface tension. Biosurfactants were identified as lipopeptides (Surfactin, iturin and fengycin) by molecular and biochemical analysis and B. amyloliquefaciens RHNK22 had potential antifungal activity.
