资源简介:

Minimal Geography (MG) is a five-point scale that measures how precisely a study's evidence can be tied to a real place. It ranges from placeless (MG 1: national, online, or otherwise diffuse recruitment) to a named local site (MG 5: place with its own population sample) based on the recruitment and setting as reported in the paper itself. Note: Minimal Geography (MG) is a property of the evidence, not a judgement of study quality: a rigorous national survey is usually placeless, and a small clinic audit is often precisely locatable. The instrument is domain-general and is released so that other teams can code other literatures and compare their distribution of geographic locatability with ours. This Zenodo record contains two files: the MG_codebook.pdf (a self-contained instrument for coders) and a MG_dataset.xlsx (coded workbook) applying it to 116 studies of LGBTQ+ fertility and reproductive care, with one MG rating per study and the source excerpt on which each rating was based.
