资源简介:
The purpose of this study is to analyze the conceptions regarding three organizational attachments (entrenchment, consent, and commitment) and highlight the forms of management as well as the human resource practices/policies related to these attachments. It also explores the organizational background factors that may be associated with the development of these various constructs. A series of semi-structured interviews was conducted with 20 managers from three organizations (two public and one service), and the data were analyzed through content analysis. The results show that managers have different conceptions about the three attachments, background factors, and management practices. Based on the example of how an organization offers conditions that stimulate the permanence of its workers, it was found that, for the constructs of entrenchment and consent, it is important to have a human resource policy that offers benefits. Regarding the construct of commitment, it is vital that an organization offers conditions for growth and develops managerial actions related to training, incentives, and awards.
