Media Framing: Immigrant Economic Incorporation in the United States Dataset

This study explores how the media frames the economic incorporation of immigrants in the United States. The "larger" sociological problem it addresses is the prominent role of media framing in the construction of an individual's reality. This involves the content analysis of 75 news articles taken from the following publications: The New York Times, El Paso Times and USA Today. The sources were selected based on geography; from the Northeast, Southwest, and the United States in general.
