This study investigated the equine ocular microbiota of healthy horses and the effect of topical antimicrobial administration. The inferior conjunctival fornix was swabbed on day 0, 3, 7, 9, 14, and 30 of antimicrobial treatment (either neomycin, polymyxin B and bacitracin or neomycin, polymyxin B and dexamethasone).
