Saccharum longisetosum Genome sequencing and assembly. Saccharum longisetosum

The Saccharum complex is a group of closely related species relative to the Saccharum genus.Erianthus rockii (Saccharum longisetosum) is speculated to have originated from the hybridization of a common Saccharum ancestor and an unknown species . Here, we report the gap-free allopolyploid genome, and further analysis was conducted to explore the origin and evolution of Saccharum complex.
