scRNA-seq of LSK cells isolated from lean and obese mice

Obesity is known to affect bone marrow hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs). We used single cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) to analyze the differences in HSPCs isolated from lean and obese mice. Male C57Bl6/J mice were fed a low-fat diet (LFD, 10% kcal from fat) or a high-fat diet (HFD, 60% kcal from fat) for 24 weeks, then Lin- Sca-1+ c-Kit+ (LSK) cells were isolated from the bone marrow and single scell RNA seq libraries were prepared using the Chromium Single Cell 3’ Library and Gel Bead Kit v.2 from 10x Genomics
