资源简介:
This dataset comprises small RNA sequencing data obtained from plasma-derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) isolated from human subjects with Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) and healthy controls. The study includes both male and female participants, allowing the evaluation of sex-specific molecular signatures. Total RNA was extracted from EVs and used to generate small RNA libraries, which were sequenced to investigate differential expression of microRNAs (miRNAs) associated with chronic alcohol consumption. The goal of this study is to identify circulating miRNA signatures involved in neuroinflammation and other pathophysiological mechanisms linked to AUD. These data contribute to understanding the regulatory role of EV-miRNAs in alcohol-related conditions and provide a valuable resource for biomarker discovery.
