Surficial sediment data from Boston Harbor collected during USGS Field Activity 04019 (SEDGRABS, UTM 19, WGS84)

This data set includes the locations, identifiers, grain-size data and(or) textural descriptions of surficial sediments collected at stations based on topographic and backscatter data of the seafloor in Boston Harbor and the harbor appraoches, Massachusetts. The sediments were collected with a modified Van Veen grab (mini-SEABOSS) during USGS survey 04019, conducted September 14-17, 2004.本数据集包含美国马萨诸塞州波士顿港及其港外航道海域内，基于海底地形与反向散射数据布设的各站位所采集的表层沉积物的位置信息、标识信息、粒度数据以及（或）组构特征描述。沉积物样品采用改装型范维恩采泥器（mini-SEABOSS）采集，采集工作于2004年9月14日至17日开展的美国地质调查局（United States Geological Survey，USGS）04019号调查任务中完成。
