资源简介:
To investigate the in vivo functions of RecJ and RecJ-like, we conducted transcriptome analyses on the wild-type (WT), drrecJ deletion mutant (△J), drrecJ-like deletion mutant (△J-like), and drrecJ-like/recJ double deletion mutant (△J/△J-like) strains. The results of the transcriptome analysis reveal a nuanced interplay between these two proteins in vivo, encompassing both overlapping and antagonistic functions. Interestingly, DrRecJ is not only involved in DNA repair but also associated with cell growth and division. On the other hand, DrRecJ-like not only influences stress response and cell growth and division, but is also linked to the folding/stability of intracellular proteins, as well as the formation and stability of cell membranes/walls. RNAseq of D. radiodurans R1 (WT), drrecJ deletion mutant (△J), drrecJ-like deletion mutant (△J-like), and drrecJ-like/recJ double deletion mutant (△J/△J-like) strains at normal condition
