资源简介:
Each teacher maintained a programme and lessons register for their class. The programme register covered an academic year.In the first volume of this series which covers the first six months of 1925, there is a header which sets out the name of the school, the class or division the week, the average age of the pupils and the average numbers of days of attendance, the name of the teacher, the date of assignment to the class, and date of appointment to the school. Each page is subdivided into subjects: English (School Reader, Supplementary Reader, Word Building and Oral Spelling), Poetry, Writing, Dictation, Oral Composition, Written Composition, Formal Grammar), Mathematics (Tables, Symbols, Oral Arithmetic, Written Arithmetic, Geometry, Mensuration, Algebra), Nature Study (Geography, Charts and Observation Talks, Nature study, Gardening, Science); Civics and Morals (Scripture, History, Civics and Morals), Music (Ear Tests, Vocal Exercises, Songs, Theory), Art and Manual Training (Drawing Free Line, Brushwork, Needlework, Other forms of Manual work), Physical Culture (Drill, Organised Games) and Class and Special Remarks.Teachers were given the following instructions: “Lesson Registers should be posted up at the end of each week, and show clearly and fully the subject and scope of the lessons actually given to each class in each correlated group of studies.”The next three volumes in this series covers the years 1944-1946 and are in a slightly different format. The front page sets out the name of the school, the class or division the week, terms and dates, the average age of the class, the name of the teacher and the date of assignment to the class. The volumes are sub-divided into terms. At the end of each term is an unstructured double page headed “Remarks.” The programme is otherwise set out in pre-printed pages. At the left-hand edge of each verso page is a column marked with week numbers. There is a two-page spread for each term’s English and Mathematics programmes, one-page spreads for other subjects. The weekly programme is set out under the following subjects: English, Mathematics, Nature Study, Hygiene and Physical Training, Art, Music and Manual Work and Needlework. The teacher completed lessons on all of these topics in the course of each week.
