Primary fibroblasts were isolated from 3 transplanted lung speciments from IPF patients and 3 distal surgical lung specimens from the nodule patients. Exosomes were isolated from the cell culture supernatant using a differential ultracentrifugation method. The enzymatically desalted peptide samples were analyzed by data-independent acquisition mass spectrometry on a QE HF-X mass spectrometer (Thermo Fisher Scientific, USA).
