Data from: "454 sequencing of reduced representation libraries to discover single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in Megabunus harvestmen" in Genomic Resources Notes accepted 1 December 2013 to 31 January 2014

Harvestmen or daddy longlegs (Opiliones) are the third-largest and one of the oldest arachnid groups, and in recent years, there has been an increasing interest in this order. Here we use next-generation sequencing of reduced representation libraries to establish nuclear DNA markers. To the best of our knowledge this dataset represents the largest genomic resource for Megabunus harvestmen available to date.盲蛛目（Opiliones，俗称长脚蛛、harvestmen）是蛛形纲中第三大且最为古老的类群之一，近年来学界对该目类群的研究兴趣日益高涨。本研究采用简化基因组文库（reduced representation libraries）的下一代测序（next-generation sequencing）技术，开发核DNA标记（nuclear DNA markers）。据我们所知，本数据集是迄今已公开的最大的巨突盲蛛属（Megabunus）相关基因组资源。
