This repository contains neurophysiological recordings and behavioral variables from two macaque monkeys (RR11 and RR13) performing a vibrotactile frequency-discrimination task. Recordings were obtained from the secondary somatosensory cortex (S2) in RR11, and from both the prefrontal cortex (PFC) and S2 in RR13. On each trial, a first stimulus frequency (f1) and a second stimulus frequency (f2) were presented sequentially, separated by a delay period; the monkey had to compare them and report which frequency was higher. More information is provided in the data description document (README.pdf) included with the dataset.
