This project presents a comprehensive transcriptomic dataset of cotton (Gossypium spp.) roots and leaves collected at multiple time points following inoculation with Verticillium dahliae, the causative agent of Verticillium wilt. Samples were obtained from both root and leaf tissues at distinct stages post-infection to capture dynamic gene expression changes during early and late host responses. The dataset provides valuable insights into the temporal activation of defense pathways, tissue-specific responses, and regulatory networks involved in cotton's resistance or susceptibility to V. dahliae.
