资源简介:
The dataset contains two main data collections related to experimental characterization and optical modeling of thin film photovoltaic materials and devices.<br>The first collection comprises experimental data obtained from the characterization of transparent conductive oxide (TCO) materials. Both electrical and optical properties were investigated. Electrical characterization includes measurements of charge carrier concentration, N (cm−3), and charge carrier mobility, μ(cm2/Vs). Optical characterization of single-layer TCO films was performed using spectroscopic ellipsometry, providing the wavelength-dependent refractive index, n(λ), extinction coefficient, k (dimensionless), and absorption coefficient, α(λ)(cm−1). For bilayer TCO structures, optical absorptance, A, was evaluated in both the as-deposited condition and after post-deposition annealing treatments, enabling assessment of the impact of thermal processing on the optical response.<br>The second collection contains data and code related to the optical modeling of thin film solar cells. Optical simulations were carried out in the MATLAB environment using the in-house developed software GenPro4. The dataset includes model input files, simulation outputs, wavelength-dependent optical constants n(λ) and k(λ), and interface morphologies used as input data in the optical models. The morphologies provided include Asahi glass, honeycomb (HC) textures, and two factory baseline textures (Factory_Baseline, FLAM01). The latter two morphologies were obtained within a collaboration with our industrial partner (former HyET Solar, current LiFTPV). In addition, the GenPro4 framework was extended to include Maxwell solvers based on rigorous coupled wave analysis (RCWA). The developed RCWA code used for modeling coherent light interaction with multiscale textures is included in the dataset.<br>The dataset supports the results presented in the associated PhD dissertation and provides documented experimental and modeling data to ensure transparency and reproducibility. The data may be reused for comparative studies of TCO materials, light-management strategies in thin film solar cells, and the development of modeling approaches for emerging photovoltaic technologies.
