Elk Home Range - Potter-Redwood Valley - 2023-2024 [ds3191]

Home range contours for Tule elk (Cervus canadensis nannodes) developed by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) for the Potter-Redwood Valley herd of the Mendocino Elk Management Unit (EMU) in Mendocino County, California. The population-level home range was developed in Migration Mapper with Brownian bridge movement models using GPS locations from collared elk. High use (50%) and full home range use (99%) contours are presented.
