Klebsiella, Enterobacter Genome sequencing and assembly

The aim of this project is to sequence nodule-associated bacteria (NAB) isolates corresponding to the family Enterobacteriaceae (the genera Klebsiella, Enterobacter) which are isolated from the root nodules of faba bean grown under various soil conditions in Egypt. The potential effect of these strains as plant growth-promoting bacteria was previously confirmed in-vitro and in-vivo. The project aim ia to identify the genetic machinery of these enterobacteria to improve plant fitness and development and shed light on their inactive influence on pathogenicity.
