Triple negative/basal-like breast cancer (TNBC) is a high-grade sub-type that exhibits a more aggressive profile than other sub-types of breast cancer and has limited therapeutic options. Therefore, research is focussed on determining the potential of new molecules as drug candidates. In this study, we aimed to elucidate the effect potential of the usnic acid molecule on TNBC cancer. After application of UA to MDA-MB-231 and MCF12A cells, transcriptomic and proteomic analyzes were performed with the HiSeq2000 Sequencing System and LC-MS/MS methods, respectively.
