FIELD: construction industry; automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in making acoustic insulation， wood and particle board， multilayer plywood. Carbohydrate component or components， polyaminoacid component or components and non-carbohydrate polyhydroxylic reagent or reagents are mixed in solvent. Carbohydrate component is selected from monosaccharides， disaccharides， polysaccharides or their reaction product， e.g. from reducing sugars， ribose， arabinose， xylose， lyxose， glucose， dextrose， mannose， galactose， allose， altrose， talose， gulose， idose， fructose， psicose， sorbose， dihydroxyacetone， saccharose and tagatose， as well as mixtures thereof. At least one polyaminoacid component or components is an amino acid comprising at least two primary amino groups， for example， α，ω-diaminoalkylcarboxylic acid， lysine， an inorganic salt of lysine or an organic salt of lysine. At least one non-carbohydrate polyhydroxylic reagent or reagents is present in an amount of about 30??wt??% of the concentration of polyaminoacid. Said components react in the obtained solution or dispersion at temperature not exceeding 120??°C for not more than 96 hours. In said binder composition can additionally be introduced at least one high-molecular weight prepolymer with molecular weight from more than 80 to 100??kDa in amount of 0.2??wt??% or more of total weight of binder composition or a prepolymer with average molecular weight of more than 10 to 80??kDa in amount of 0.3??wt??% or more of the total weight of the binder composition. Aqueous solution containing 70??wt??% of said pre-reacted binding composition has viscosity at 20??°C not exceeding 2000??cP. Said pre-reacted binder composition is able to react with a cross-linking agent to produce one or more melanoidins in form of a water-insoluble composition. Obtained binder composition is held for at least 24 hours， applied on a set of substances selected from sand and/or coal particles or from materials containing fibers， and heated or irradiated for hardening.
