European Reference Genome Atlas (ERGA): Biodiversity Genomics Europe (BGE) Project Genome Data and Assemblies

This pan-European effort, driven by the European Reference Genome Atlas (ERGA) community (https://www.erga-biodiversity.eu/) within the framework of the Biodiversity Genomics Europe (BGE) Project (https://biodiversitygenomics.eu/), worked to generate high-quality reference genomes meeting Earth BioGenome Project (EBP) standards for key eukaryotic species in an effort to enhance our understanding of European biodiversity. The BGE Genomes Stream focused on generating reference genomes for biodiversity hotspots, pollinators, and a selection of applied case studies, as well as for critical European biodiversity from samples provided by ERGA Community members.
