Case study of Twitter communication patterns in the US during COVID-19

- This study used four keywords ‘vaccine,’ ‘covid vaccine,’ ‘vaccination,’ vaccine effect’ to collect overall tweets about vaccination. - The collection area was limited to the United States. - The collection period is from November 2020 to November 30, 2021, for 52 weeks. - The time unit was weekly. - A total of 52,000 tweets were requested to the API, 1,000 each weekly, and 49,013 tweets were collected.
