Public register of bus stations

The register of bus stations and stop facilities is published and kept up to date by the Transport Regulatory Authority (formerly Arafer) in accordance with the provisions of [Article L.3114-10 of the Transport Code](https://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/affichCodeArticle.do?cidTexte=LEGITEXT000023086525&idArticle=LEGIARTI000031963093). Since 2016 it shall be updated as soon as operators send their declaration to the Authority with the characteristics of those facilities, or as soon as they modify the information initially declared. The register [presented in the form of an interactive map on the website of the Transport Regulatory Authority](http://www.arafer.fr/les-autocars/gares-routieres/registre-public-et-carte-interactive-des-gares-routieres/) allows bus operators wishing to access and use the services of the bus station or the station layout to know the characteristics, technical constraints and nature of the services offered to passengers and operators.
