Datatset of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) at ground level near to petrochemical plant

The dataset was collected in ​​the city of Cadereyta, Nuevo León, Mexico, from March 1 to May 31, 2024. The monitoring station is implemented in an area with different characteristics regarding potential sources of volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions. The air quality monitoring station is located at the residential, commercial, and industrial levels, as well as on avenues and boulevards with high vehicular traffic and heavy cargo transport, and near a petrochemical plant. VOC concentration values were measured using a low-cost Adafruit SGP30 sensor, with samples taken every 3 minutes. Relative humidity (%), temperature (°C), and barometric pressure values ​​were measured with a Bosch BME280 sensor.本数据集采集于墨西哥新莱昂州卡德雷塔市，采集周期为2024年3月1日至2024年5月31日。监测站部署于存在多种潜在挥发性有机化合物（Volatile Organic Compound, VOC）排放源的区域。该空气质量监测站的选址涵盖住宅、商业与工业区域，同时覆盖高车流量大道、重型货运通行的林荫道，以及一座石化厂周边区域。挥发性有机化合物浓度数据采用低成本Adafruit SGP30传感器采集，采样间隔为每3分钟一次。相对湿度（%）、气温（℃）与大气气压数据则通过博世BME280传感器采集。
