Land Use Change (Monitor Landscape)

The Land Use indicator provides insight into the state and change of land use in the Netherlands. The indicator is part of the Monitor Landscape. The monitor shows the changes in our landscape on the basis of six indicators. These are: buildings, land use, openness, rising greenery, historical line elements and relief. The National Agency for Cultural Heritage, Het Kadaster, LandschapNL and Wageningen University & Research developed the Landscape Monitor on behalf of the ministries of BZK (Home Affairs), OCW (Education, Culture and Science) and LNV (Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality).
