Phylogenomics of Hyalessa fuscata/maculaticollis

Hyalessa fuscata has been considered as a synonym of H. maculaticollis (Hemiptera: Cicadidae). However, a growing body of evidence from morphology, genetics, and acoustics support the separation of those two as independent species.This study aims at reconstructing the evolutionary relationship and estimating divergence time using mitogenomes of H.fuscata/maculaticollis populations from China, South Korea, and Japan.
