Data and code from: Social and environmental drivers of route planning in an Endangered primate
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the data and code supporting a study on movement decisions of black lion tamarins (Leontopithecus chrysopygus), a frugivorous–faunivorous Neotropical primate, conducted in a seasonal Atlantic Forest fragment in Brazil. Behavioural data were collected from one habituated group (Group 01) between December 2022 and September 2023 and include scan and all-occurrence behavioural observations, phenological assessments of fruiting trees, estimates of invertebrate biomass, fruit nutritional content, vegetation structure and composition, and spatialenvironmental data. Energetic costs of movement were estimated using triaxial accelerometers deployed on individuals from three social groups (Group 01, Group 02, and Group 03). The archived data were used to generate environmental, social, and energetic landscape predictors, which were subsequently integrated into step selection function models to evaluate the drivers of movement decisions across rainy and dry seasons. The repository includes all processed datasets, spatial layers, and R scripts required to reproduce the analyses and figures reported in the associated manuscript. All code executes without manual intervention when run in sequence using the specified software versions.
