Expression data from human lung epithelial A549 cells treated with DMEM containing 5.5 or 25 mM

Cells treated with DMEM containing 25 mM had higher cellular translation levels than that of cells treated with DMEM containing 5.5 mM . We used microarrays to detail the global gene expression underlying hyperglycemic stress. A549 cells were treated with for DMEM containing 5.5 or 25 mM and then collected at 48 hours post-stimulation for RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarrays. We sought to obtain global gene expression which related to hyperglycema. Two smaples (A549 cells treated with DMEM containing 5.5 mM glucose and A549 cells treated with DMEM containing 25 mM glucose) were analyzed for comparing the gene ecpression.
