The origin of the risk characterises the real-world entity which, through its presence, represents a potential risk. This origin may be characterised by a name and, in some cases, a geographical object locating the actual entity causing the risk. The location of the entity and the knowledge of the dangerous phenomenon are used to define the risk pools, the risk-exposed areas that underpin the RPP.风险源（risk origin）指的是现实世界中，其存在本身即构成潜在风险的实体。该风险源可通过名称加以标识，在部分场景中，还可借助用于定位该风险实际引发实体的地理对象来补充其相关信息。实体的位置与危险现象的相关认知，被用于界定风险池（risk pools），也就是支撑RPP的风险暴露区域。
