RNAsequening revolutionized the bacterial gene expression analysis. The objective of this study was to identify the genes involved in metabolism of Inulin in Ligilactobacillus agilis. We have obtained a list of genes upregulated in Ligilactobacillus agilis when it is grown in 1% Inulin Illumina RNAseq was conducted on RNA extracted from five samples of Ligilactobacillus agilis (n=5) grown in 1% Insulin and five samples of Ligilactobacillus agilis grown in 1% glucose. Samples were takin at the mid log phase of the growth curve
