Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from all sectors of activity of EPCIs in the Grand Est region – 2021

Estimate of all sectors of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (carbon dioxide CO2 – methane CH4 – Nitrogen oxide N2O – Hydrofluorocarbon HFC – PFC perfluorocarbon – Sulphur hexafluoride SF6 – Nitrogen trifluoride NF3 – Global warming power according to the GWP values of the 4th IPCC report (AR4) for the year 2007 PRG2007 – Global warming power according to the GWP values of the 5th IPCC report (AR5) for the year 2013 PRG2013 – Carbon dioxide of biomass, not included in the calculation of CO2_BIO GWPs) in the Grand East region for the year 2021. Units are expressed in kg/year or tonnes CO2 equivalent for GWPs for administrative units associated with EPCIs. The figures provided are derived from ATMO Grand Est’s V2023 inventory. In the context of ATMO Grand Est’s regional territorial inventory, consistency is examined in particular with regard to the work carried out at more macroscopic scales in this case the national scale. This involves comparing the results of the Grand Est inventory with other inventories set up by another organisation. In the absence of results allowing a possible comparison with the regional outputs of the National Spatialised Inventory (INS), the comparison takes place with the SECTEN national inventory produced by CITEPA. Exceptions should be taken into account for the following EPCIs: EPCI 200070332 “Knowledge CC”: only the data of municipalities located in the territory of the Grand Est are taken into account.
