The measurement data includes results from tests on magnetorheological fluids MRF-122 EG, MRF-132 CG, and MRF-140 DG (LORD Co.), performed on an MCR-301 rheometer (Anton Paar). A plate-plate measuring geometry was used, with a diameter of 20 mm and a gap height of 0.6 mm. The test involved subjecting the sample to oscillatory deformation with a 100% amplitude at various electromagnet current levels: 0.25/0.5/1/2/3 A. Three types of deformation were applied: triangular, sinusoidal, and trapezoidal (for MRF-122 EG), while the trapezoidal profile was used for all three fluids. The aim of the tests was to determine the effect of the MR fluid deformation profile on the repeatability of shear stress during successive deformation cycles.
