To investigate the transcriptome dynamics of mango fruits in response to Colletotrichum gloeosporioides infection, we conducted a RNA-seq of mango fruits. After inoculation with C. gloeosporioides at 1, 2, and 3 d, the fruit tissues adjacent to lesions were sampled and used for the RNA-seq; while the fruits without inoculation of the pathogen were used as the control samples.
