Downing Herbarium

The herbarium is a collection of dried plant specimens, including marine algae, mosses and liverworts, lichens, ferns, conifers and flowering plants.The collection has been established to support ecological research and teaching. It is also available to the wider community by prior arrangement with the curators.

It includes reference material on invasive species and collections associated with research on vegetation function.

本植物标本馆（Herbarium）馆藏干燥植物标本，涵盖海洋藻类、藓类与苔类、地衣、蕨类、针叶树及显花植物。本馆设立的初衷为支撑生态学研究与教学工作。经与馆藏管理员提前预约，社会公众亦可使用本馆馆藏资源。本馆还收录了入侵物种相关参考资料，以及与植被功能研究相关的馆藏标本。
