Repeated sampling of soil microbial communities in a temperate forest

Here we present a unique dataset, where bacterial and fungal communities in soil and litter were repeatedly sampled in 2013, 2016 and 2017 in 31 locations in a Central European temperate forest. Our aim was to determine the relative contribution of time and space to microbial community turnover.
