National Centers for Environmental Prediction/ Department of Energy (NCEP-DOE) Atmospheric Model Intercomparison Project (AMIP-II) Reanalysis - Pressure Level

The NCEP/DOE AMIP-II Reanalysis (Reanalysis-2) is based on the widely used NCEP/NCAR Reanalysis. The goal of Reanalysis-2 is to improve upon the NCEP/NCAR Reanalysis by fixing the errors and by updating the parameterizations of the physical processes. The NCEP-NCAR Reanalysis project is a collection of global analyses of atmospheric fields in support of atmospheric and climate research. The Reanalysis involves the recovery of land surface,ship, rawinsonde, pibal, aircraft, satellite and other data, quality controlling and assimilating these data with a data assimilation system.
This project uses a state-of-the-art analysis/forecast system to perform data assimilation using past atmospheric observations from 1979 to the present. The data is available in its original 4 times daily format and as daily averages. These are Pressure Level data.

NCEP/DOE AMIP-II再分析资料（Reanalysis-2）以广泛应用的NCEP/NCAR再分析资料为基础。Reanalysis-2的研发目标是对NCEP/NCAR再分析资料进行优化，通过修正原有误差并更新物理过程参数化方案实现。NCEP-NCAR再分析计划是一套全球大气场分析数据集，旨在为大气科学与气候研究提供支撑。该再分析计划涵盖多类观测资料的回溯处理：包括陆面观测、船舶观测、无线电探空观测、高空测风气球观测、航空器观测、卫星观测及其他类型观测数据，并通过资料同化系统对这些数据开展质量控制与同化处理。
本项目采用当前最先进的分析/预报系统，对1979年至今的历史大气观测资料开展数据同化工作。该资料提供原始的每日4次采样格式与日平均格式两种版本，均为等压层数据。
