TP53 abnormalities correlate with immune infiltration and are associated with response to flotetuzumab, an investigational immunotherapy, in acute myeloid leukemia

Immunological classifiers that predict patient outcome and therapeutic responses have been constructed through targeted immune gene expression profiling of diagnostic bone marrow samples from patients with TP53-mutated acute myeloid leukaemia. In the study presented here, well annotated cohorts of adults with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukaemia (TP53 mutated and TP53 wild type) were used to acquire immune gene expression data.
