OsWRKY53 responded to both wounding and wound-derived peptide, OsPep2 treatment. We have performed ChIP-seq experiments to determine the contribution of OsWRKY53 to both wounding as well as OsPep2 treatment. Overall design: Plants expressing GFP tagged WRKY under native promoter was used for all the experiments. Peptide treatment was administered to the six-week-old leaf strips. 1 µM was used for treatment. The leaf strips were collect according to the time point and crosslinked before freezing. The frozen samples were ground and used for further experiments.
