Lycium ruthenicum Murr. Transcriptome Assembly. Lycium ruthenicum

In our study, the RNA-seq transcriptomics technics was applied to obtain the raw reads of Lycium ruthenicum fruit and de novo assembly was used to assemble its sequence. L. ruthenicum Murr. belongs to the genus Lycium of the family Solanaceae, and is a resource plant for Chinese traditional medicine and nutraceutical food. These study provide a substantial contribution to existing sequence resources for Lycium spp., and will be useful for further functional studies of genes involved in L. ruthenicum fruit nutraceutical quality formation.
