TFM (3-trifluoromethyl-4-nitrolphenol) concentrations in sea lamprey liver and muscle exposed to TFM at 3.74 mg/L at a range of temperatures.

Larval sea lamprey were acclimated at a range of temperatures (6, 12 and 24 C) and exposed to an identical concentration of TFM lampricide (3.74 mg/L). Lamprey were sampled at various time points (1, 3, 6, 9, or 12 hrs) after exposure to TFM. Control fish were acclimated at the same temperatures but were not exposed to any chemicals. Fish were dissected at the end of each time point and the liver and muscle removed. These were extracted and then analyzed by LC-MS/MS to determine the concentration of TFM in each organ. This dataset shows the final concentration of TFM in each organ at the temperatures and time points.
