Seismic behavior of existing buildings with soft story and mitigation measures, in Evaluation of seismic vulnerability of Mexico City Buildings

This project focuses on the seismic behavior of existing buildings in Mexico City that were constructed under outdated seismic codes and exhibit soft-first-story irregularities. It also presents a proposed method to mitigate the associated vulnerabilities and improve their structural performance during earthquakes.
